When and where can I register for next season?

Our registration for the 2025-2026 season will open for existing athletes on March 1, 2025, and for NEW athletes to Valley, registration will open on April 1, 2025. Evaluations will be held April 14 thru April 17, 2025 for Traditional Recreation athletes, and April 21 thru April 24, 2025 for Performance Recreation athletes. You can register right here on our website at valleycheer.org.

Where are you located?

We are located at 2840 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Our unit is A4. We are in the same parking lot as the restaurant Time Out on Pine.

Do you travel?

Yes, our full year teams travel for our national competitions and sometimes our regular season competitions as well. In the past we have traveled to Florida, Maryland, and New Jersey. Every season is different, but these are the consistent locations we have traveled to.

How much is tuition?

How long is your season?

Our season begins in the summer, depending on the type of cheer your child will be doing. Regular season for our full years teams is September through mid-February for traditional rec and September through mid-March for performance rec. Our half year teams start in September and run through mid-November.

How old are your athletes?

Our athletes start at the age of 18 months and end at 18 years old! Depending on the birthday of the athlete, some can even be 19!

Do you need experience?

You do not need experience to join Valley Cheer! All athletes are placed on teams perfect for them and we will teach each cheerleader what they need to know!

How many days a week do you practice?

Every full-year team practices one weeknight and one weekend day or night. In addition, each athlete will have one hour of tumbling a week for half of the season. Our half-year athletes between the ages of 18months to 3 years old practice one hour a week and our half-year athletes between the ages of 4 to 6 practice one day a week/weekend. Schedules vary every season as we will give out all practice information once your child is placed on a team. In addition, our athletes will have 1 hour a week of tumbling instruction prior to the season opening.

Do all of your staff have proper background checks and training?

YES! We are very thorough when it comes to the safety of our athletes and all who enter our gym. EVERY staff member is required to have a background check done by USA Cheer before they can be on staff at Valley Cheer. All coaches have personal history of cheerleading and every year, all season long, coaches are learning additional skills and knowledge for their teams. 85% of our staff is BLS/CPR certified.

How do you place your athletes on teams?

Our athletes who register at Valley Cheer will attend mandatory evaluations. Every athlete is placed on a team that is the best fit for them & the gym! Our owners are very knowledgeable and will always place athletes where we believe they will grow the most that season.
